The Cross-Eyed Possum

The Cross-Eyed Possum is based out of Prescott, Arizona, and have played across the Western states. They characterize their music as rock, blues-rock, jam band, and folk. They are currently pursuing avenues to showcase their musicality as both a rock trio and as an acoustic duo." 

They recently released their first CD, "Worn Down Car," which is purchasable on this website as well as most streaming services. Their  influences include The Allman Brothers, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, The Sheepdogs, The Punch Brothers, and The Julian Lage Trio.

Jason Howard

Bass, Vocals

Jason Howard currently plays bass in The Cross-Eyed Possum, The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, and various jazz combos. He has won the title of first All-State Jazz bassist of Arizona two years in a row. He also participated in the All-State orchestra twice, taking first the second time. Jason also played bass with Sugar and the Mint for several years, during which they won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and toured the festival scene. 

Jonah Howard

Guitar, Vocals

Jonah Howard plays guitar for the Cross-Eyed Possum, as well as several different acts within the jazz program at Arizona State University. He has participated in All-State jazz through all four years of his school career, taking first place in the last two years.
