The bossa nova duo is comprised of Nick Otis on drums and Matthew Silva on guitar…Nick is the son of rock and roll hall of fame bandleader, songwriter and multi instrumentalist Johnny Otis, and has performed all over the world since he was a teenager, as well as his current tours with his brother, Shuggie Otis. Matthew Silva is also a veteran of the jazz and blues world, having played with such greats as Earl Klugh while living in Detroit, and currently touring with award winning soul artist Johnny Rawls…they formed the duo seven years ago and have been working out their own soulful and intelligent renditions of classic Brazilian and jazz songs, with a taste of American soul and Beatles thrown in!
