Morris LeGrande

A San Francisco Bay Area native with southern roots, Morris LeGrande started his musical journey playing drums at the age of 5. What he discovered was a deep and insatiable love for music. Eventually making the switch to guitar at 17, he then made a career in music his goal.

Morris’ distinct sound is a direct result of his empirical playing and songwriting, which consistently gives the listener an avenue to connect with him. Morris has embraced the artistry of winemaking, and the similarities of making music and winemaking has resulted in his latest CD Wine Country.

For the past 13 years, LeGrande has toured with the Grammy-nominated Gospel Hummingbirds, as the group's musical director; played guitar for soul singer Lenny Williams; recorded and performed with gospel legend Edwin Hawkins; and has shared the stage with a host of notable artists. As the owner of MHP recording studio, LeGrande also has written for, produced, engineered and mixed for many regional artists.
