Lady D and the Tramps

For nearly two decades, Lady "D" has been the singer on hundreds of dates with Alex Markels’ “Rent Party Rhythm Section” (sometimes billed as Lady D and the Tramps.) 

She’s regularly played The Fenix, Servino’s, Rickey’s, Ghiringhelli’s Novato, The Schellville Grill, The Trident, Panama Hotel, Fairfix Cafe, Finnegan’s, and many private events. Her CD “Out of Nowhere” (now in third printing) has gotten lots of local attention and increased the attendance at her shows.

She’s extremely versatile – we play many shows with a set or two of jazz standards from the great American song book followed by Motown/modern dance tunes for the remainder of evening. We have more than 150 tunes rehearsed and ready – we can stay with standards only or pop/soul only. Band size for dates is variable from 2 players + Lady D to full band with drums, horns, etc.
