Sailing in from the golden shores of Northern California comes the wild
ukulele sounds of The Hunka Hunka Hula Revue. Like surfing big waves,
this hot band will leave a wake to hula your hips to all night long.
Featuring singer/songwriter Todd “Troublemaker” Jenkins armed with only a
couple paddles, beer and a baritone ukulele. His crew of misfits
include Carissa Noelle on tenor/soprano ukulele and lead/backup vocals,
Alan K. Parks on upright bass, backup vocals and bad jokes and Mark
Larson on lap steel, electric guitar and sunscreen applicator. The HHHR
covers the globe in musical stylings from rocking originals to choice
covers. From rock n roll, country, rockabilly, blues, swing and all with
a tropical twang hillbilly hula flare. We like to call this unique
sound “Hula Honky Tonk Rock n Roll”. This band has what it takes to get
the room buzzing and the people dancing. They’ve had the distinct
pleasure of opening for touring bands like Southern Culture On The
Skids, Rosie Flores, Jinx Jones, Soraia and many others. So make sure
you hop on the Hunka Hunka Hula Revue wave when it comes thru your town!
“I just gotta say that the first time I
heard Hunka Hunka Hula Revue
I had chills and fever down the left
side. When they played our Krush
Backyard Concert here at the
station house in Santa Rosa for my
special Rockabilly event, they were
definitely the Main Gazane. For
high-octane fun I definitely
recommend these boys (and girl)
wholeheartedly.”
