Ha Vay

Ha Vay is the musical and storytelling project of singer, songwriter, artist and performer, Ha Vay as she explores her identity as an Asian bi-racial young woman navigating her early 20s. Songs are made in collaboration with her close friend and audio engineer/producer, Elliott Jacobs.

Together they create a 90s-inspired anthemic pop rock sound, experimenting with a mix of punk, shoegaze, country and hyper pop elements. Combining classic songwriting storytelling with experimental psychedelic sections and a punk sensibility. Songs are always accompanied by music videos where Ha Vay takes every opportunity to expand her stories into the visual and performance mediums.
