In April, 2008, I completed my first whatar. It is a four stringed modified dread-knot guitar, with a 7 tine kalimba (african thumb piano) mounted behind the bridge. Its other super cool feature is a removable cutaway piece. This can be swung open to make accessible the last 5 frets on the guitar, as well as the whole chamber of the body, where I store my clothes when I'm traveling.
