Dave Hooper

Dave Hooper is a singer, songwriter, musician, and author, who resides in the city of Santa Rosa, California.

Dave Hooper has spent several decades performing professionally in the U.S. and Europe, where he lived in the early 1970s. He has also lived in Nashville, and spent more than 20 years in Austin, Texas, where he fronted the band "Dave Hooper and the Corporate Monkeys". He has released nine albums on his own label, the latest being Midnight In Paris, which has garnered airplay both locally and in Texas. He is also the author of two novels published under his full name, David Matson Hooper.

Dave currently sings and plays guitar and harmonica in the Americana band, "Hooper and Sloss". Other members of "Hooper and Sloss" are: Dan Sloss, guitar, bass, accordion, vocals; Alice Fitzwater, violin, mandolin, vocals; Rick Walt: bass and vocals, and Richard Meux drums and percussion. The band has been together and working as a duo, trio, and four piece unit since 2013. However, Dave also worked previously with the individual members in other groups, including "Luke Warmwater" and "Hooper Sloss and Blackford".

"Hooper and Sloss" mix original songs with cover tunes for an eclectic blend of country, folk, blues, rockabilly, and bluegrass.
