This new and electrifying duo formed their undeniable bond while Essence was recording her soon-to-be released new record at Danny’s Allegiant Records recording studio. Within that process they recognized the immediate truth that their voices and musical directions compliment each other. The earthy natural chemistry shared and their natural twinning vocal harmonies and musicality on stage is so undeniable they have garnered comparisons to some of the most classic male/female duos of all time: George Jones & Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynne & Conway Twitty. Many have described them as the reincarnation of Johnny Cash & June Carter. The unexpected, yet inevitable union of these once singular & powerful voices is destined to leave a unique mark on the Roots/Americana landscape.
