Clay Bell
Clay Bell first went on tour at the age of 5 and has been making music ever since. He signed with legendary Ardent Records (Big Star, Alex Chilton) in the mid 90's.
As a songwriter and guitarist he has enjoyed national airplay, and placements on MTV and Much Music. Billboard Magazine called Bell's music, "Smart Powerpop" and, Unsigned Music Magazine compared the songwriting to Bob Dylan mixed with the feel good vibe of the Monkees.
His newest full length studio album encompasses a fresh approach to the Alt country-rock sound coupled with a studio sheen that would make George Martin smile. Drawing on an upbringing in the rural south coupled with the sophistication of cosmopolitan life in San Francisco this is a collection of instantly infectious and alluring melodies with thoughtfully layered arrangements.
