Growing up in Chicago, Chris Huson understood the blues. Listening to his Mom’s recordings of Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner, Art Tatum, Fats Waller, Ella Fitzgerald and others,Chris’ journey as a piano player brought him to the west coast in 1968. He followed Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderly and other blues and jazz greats and eventually found his own style.
