For many years Billy D has been playing music, all over California, Washington, Oregon, Canada, New Mexico, Hawaii, Arizona and beyond. His albums with The Billy Boys have been played all over the world and have been rated very high on the Indie charts. I guess you could call me a troubadour of sorts. I have formed a lot of bands throughout my career and met and jammed with many stars who I have been fortunate enough to come in contact with. People like Phil Every of The Everly Brothers, Joe Chambers of The Chambers Brothers, Jerry Jeff Walker, Dino Valente, Ramblin Jack Elliott, Guy Clark, Roy Rogers, John Doe, Joe Ely, Jim Nunally, Nel Robinson, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ralph Stanley, and Todd Snider.

“I have literally been Living on The Run which happens to be the title of my last album. It took me three years to put that one out. “A piece of your soul goes into every song you write. From writer to studio, to mass production, and then to distribution is a long, hard, road.”

But, now I have started a new album project and I plan to have this one out by summer 2020

The songs on my new album are deeply rooted in mystery, playfulness, and non – refinement.
